The Summer Academy 2022 of the St. Ingbert Biosphere VHS also offers a varied program this year. Every year during the summer holidays, the St. Ingbert Cultural Center, its adjoining park, and the Biosphere Community Garden become a meeting place for artists of various styles. Under professional guidance, the artists find new impulses in different areas at this exceptional learning location. From July 25th to August 5th, participants can engage in an intensive exchange throughout the day to further develop themselves.
A broad program on painting and drawing topics is offered with courses such as "Colors Exploding on the Canvas," "Line and Painting," "Searching, Seeing, Finding, Painting - Paths to the Picture," "Acrylic Pouring," and "Creative Drawing and Painting." This year, a separate painting course is available for children.
Craftsmanlike interested individuals have the opportunity to realize their ideas in the courses "Plastic Expression with Soapstone" and "Sculpture" as well as "Carving for Adults and Children." The "Goldsmith Course" also demands fine craftsmanship. In the photography workshop, participants can learn numerous basics of digital photography as well as lighting and image composition.
This year, two more interesting courses are also being offered. Cutting and sewing for advanced learners is aimed at sewing enthusiasts who already have some experience. In the "Streetfood" workshop, you will learn to prepare small summer dishes from America and Southeast Asia over the course of two evenings.
In addition, participants from the various workshop areas can inspire each other in this open setting and exchange ideas during the daily artist breakfast.
There are still a few spots available. The Biosphere VHS looks forward to more registrations.
