On June 27, 2022, at around 11:45 a.m., a traffic accident followed by a hit-and-run occurred on "Obere Allee" street in Homburg. An 11-year-old child was riding a racing bike in the designated direction on "Obere Allee." Just before turning right onto Keltenstraße, a scooter rider (silver scooter) came out of that street, turning left, against the one-way street, into "Obere Allee" and rode along it for a short distance. The child was so startled that they had to brake abruptly, fell off the bicycle, and was injured in the process. The scooter rider left the scene without attending to the injured child.
The police are now seeking individuals who can provide useful information regarding the mentioned crime. Witnesses are asked to contact the police in Homburg (Tel. 06841-1060).
