Merzig (ots)
On the evening of June 26, 2022, between 9:00 PM and 11:45 PM, a traffic accident occurred in Merzig at the roundabout of the B51 bypass, coming from Mettlach towards Schwemlingen, where an as yet unknown driver collided with the traffic island there and then left the scene. Based on vehicle parts found at the accident site, the car responsible was a white BMW with blue applications. Persons who can provide information about the accident or the driver are asked to contact the Merzig police at 06861/7040.
