At the police station in St. Wendel, a crime has now become known that is hardly surpassable in its audacity. Last Wednesday, a theft occurred involving a senior citizen in Oberthal, on Birkenstraße. The perpetrator posed as a cleaning/housekeeping assistant to gain access to the property. After only a short stay, she left the apartment carrying a bedsheet under her arm. The actual crime was only noticed the following day when the "real nursing service," which visits only once a week, arrived. The perpetrator stole cash amounting to a five-figure sum during the commission of the crime. The St. Wendel police urgently seek witnesses who can provide information about the incident.
