Between 08:15 and 14:00 on June 22, 2022, a traffic accident followed by a hit and run occurred in front of building 40.2 (Internal Medicine IV, University Outpatient Clinics) on the grounds of the University Hospital. The driver of a red vehicle, who is currently unknown, presumably collided with a high-value car parked in the driveway with a Heidelberg district license plate while maneuvering or passing by. After the collision, the perpetrator unlawfully left the scene of the accident.
