On the CISPA campus in St. Ingbert, a competence center for cybersecurity and artificial intelligence is to be established in collaboration with the aircraft manufacturer Airbus. The "CISPA-Airbus Digital Innovation Hub" is planned to start its work later this year. CISPA head Michael Backes expects that around 100 new jobs can be created in the next three years. In the long term, up to 500 new jobs are conceivable.
"The establishment of Airbus is a historic opportunity for St. Ingbert. The excellence of CISPA under Backes is a decisive factor for structural change in Saarland," welcomes Mayor Prof. Dr. Ulli Meyer the decision to settle.
Not only St. Ingbert continues to gain attractiveness for young talents from all over the world, but the Saarland in general. The goal is to be at the forefront of the digital challenges of tomorrow, says Evert Dudok from Airbus.
