On July 25th, the summer holidays begin. Experience shows that shortly before and during the holidays, there is a higher demand for ID cards and passports. The citizen's office team of the municipality of Ensdorf advises that those planning a trip abroad during the summer holidays should check in time whether they possess the necessary travel documents (passport, child passport, ID card) and whether the documents are still valid. The application for the ID card should be made 4 - 5 weeks before the trip, and the application for the passport 6 – 7 weeks before the start of the journey.
