On June 18, 2022, around 2:50 PM, an escaped black fighting dog attacked the small dog of a passerby on a sunbathing lawn at the Niederwürzbach pond. The owner of the fighting dog, who is still unknown, subsequently left the scene without being identified. The passerby's dog was seriously injured in the attack. The unknown dog owner had the following appearance: fully tattooed, dark hair, possibly wearing a cap, under 30 years old, stocky build, red-black jacket.
Witnesses who can provide relevant information about the incident, especially regarding the unknown dog owner, are asked to contact the Homburg Police Station (Tel.: 06841/1060).
