On 16/06/2022, around 9:39 PM, a mountain bike was stolen at the train station in St. Ingbert.
The mountain bike of the 41-year-old victim from Sulzbach was secured to the bike rack, located to the left of the train station building, with a bicycle lock. The perpetrator forcibly broke the lock at the time of the crime and fled on the bike towards the city center. During the subsequent search for the perpetrator and the bicycle, the abandoned bike was found in a residential area in St. Ingbert and was returned to the victim.
The bicycle was a gray mountain bike with a black handlebar, a striking red suspension under the saddle, and a purple bottle holder on the frame (value approx. 500 EUR).
