Tourism Concept "Saarpolygon Location" in Connection with the Development at the Duhamel Surface Facility

Representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Digital Affairs and Energy, the District Office, the Saarlouis District, the Tourism Center, the Saar Structural Holding, the RAG Group, and the municipality of Ensdorf came together for the kickoff meeting on the topic "Concept and Strategy for Tourism and Recreation at the Duhamel-Ensdorf Mine." The aim is to discuss packages of measures and courses of action – for example, the presentation and development of strategically and economically sensible outcomes following upcoming expert interviews. In particular, the concept aims to highlight the importance of the location for the state and the region with regard to the creation of necessary infrastructure and associated investments (rough cost estimates based on experience).
