On 13.06.2022, the police were informed by a witness around 8:30 PM that there had been a loud argument between two people at a neighboring property in Albert Weisgerber Allee in St. Ingbert. Following this, the sound of a gunshot was heard. This information was confirmed by additional witnesses to the first responders from the St. Ingbert police. Since the witnesses reported several shots, a strong police presence was deployed, including the special operations unit. After establishing contact with the parties involved in the dispute, the situation was clarified. The couple had engaged in a verbal argument. The intoxicated disruptor was in a psychological state of emergency, which led him to fire two shots into the air with a blank-firing gun in the garden. During the search measures, several weapons were found and secured. No one was injured during the operation, and there was no danger to the wife or third parties. During the operation, Albert Weißgerber Allee was closed to traffic. The response measures were completed around 1:00 AM.
