On Sunday, 12th June 2022, around 5:10 PM, a traffic accident occurred in Bexbach, on Hochstraße, at the junction with Verdistraße, involving a bus and an e-bike rider. Both parties were traveling along Hochstraße, heading toward Obere Hochstraße. When the 64-year-old bus driver attempted to overtake, the 52-year-old e-bike rider intended to turn left onto Verdistraße. In doing so, she collided with the side of the bus and was seriously, but not life-threateningly, injured. She was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the St. Ingbert police station at (06894/1090).
