On Friday evening around 10:00 PM, a 58-year-old man from Saarbrücken became the victim of a threat at a bus stop on Trierer Straße in Saarbrücken. The victim got into a verbal dispute with several young men who were also at the bus stop. During the altercation, the younger individuals drew a knife and a telescopic baton and threatened the victim with them. The victim fled the scene on foot and alerted the police. During the search, three suspects from Luxembourg were identified by officers from the Saarbrücken City Police Department. The weapons used were found and secured. The Luxembourg nationals, aged 18, 19, and 20, face criminal proceedings for threats and property damage. On their way through the city center, they also damaged the green light of a pedestrian traffic signal with the baton they carried.
