On June 1, 1997, the then 24 and 18-year-old young entrepreneurs Thomas Paul and Karsten Becker opened one of the first professional vehicle care businesses in Saarlouis nationwide.
Today, 25 years later, the company based in Ensdorf (Provinzialstraße 243) is well known far beyond the borders of the Saarland due to its specialization in private customer vehicles and the high customer satisfaction rate.
Customers from the Greater Trier/Luxembourg region in particular appreciate the high-quality work of the two Saarlanders and are willing to travel distances of 100 km or more. "They mostly come for the ceramic coating of their expensive new cars," says Karsten Becker (43), who, as a trained quality coach, is responsible among other things for maintaining the consistently high quality of the work.
In 2012, PB Fahrzeugpflege Saarlouis was the first German company in the field of car detailing to be awarded the Q-seal by the then Minister for Economy, Labor, Energy and Transport, Heiko Maas, and in 2015 it was reaffirmed by his then successor Anke Rehlinger. This seal is only granted to companies that meet strict quality requirements and demonstrate their service quality through corresponding audits.
The company's offerings range from detailing leased vehicles before their return to the care of exquisite vintage cars, to the cleaning of everyday vehicles for a "new car feeling."
As a particularly exclusive service, Thomas Paul and Karsten Becker offer a high-end ceramic coating for new cars, which is especially in demand for expensive luxury vehicles. In this process, the new car paint is prepared in several stages by specially trained staff and then coated with a glass-like protective layer, significantly reducing harmful effects from insects, bird droppings, and other contaminants.
Due to the collaboration with vehicle appraisers and body shops, paint and accident damages are professionally repaired. For smaller damages, the paint or dent specialist is called in.
Mayor Jörg Wilhelmy visited the two entrepreneurs at the Ensdorf site and wished them much success in their future services in the field of vehicle care.
