In recent weeks, rumors circulated in St. Ingbert that the Karlsberg Brewery would cease production of Becker‘s beer. The news spread among the citizens of St. Ingbert like wildfire. To dispel the rumors, Mayor Ulli Meyer quickly arranged a meeting with Christian Weber, Managing Director of Karlsberg Brewery, and Daniel Steis, National Sales Manager for Gastronomy. In the informal discussion, it quickly became clear: all clear! The popular Becker‘s beer will continue to be brewed and will thus remain available to beer lovers in bottles and on tap. Christian Weber and Daniel Steis also announced a relaunch of the brand appearance of the popular Becker‘s beer and showed initial designs of a new logo.
Mayor Ulli Meyer was particularly pleased with the pleasant conversation and the news: “These are good news. Becker’s beer is a part of St. Ingbert! I am glad that the Karlsberg Brewery continues to promote and expand the Becker’s beer brand.”
