Ottweiler/Steinbach - Schillerstraße (police report)
Due to the severe storms on May 31, 2022, damage occurred to the gutter of the affected party (AP). The damage was visible from the street. On the morning of June 1, 2022, when the AP wanted to leave her house on Schillerstraße in Ottweiler-Steinbach, she was approached by a group of four men (between 30 and 40 years old and driving white Polish vans without logos) regarding the broken gutter and were offering a repair for a four-figure amount. The AP said she would consider it and then left her property. When the AP returned, the suspects had already finished working on the gutter at the front of the house without any order from the AP. On Friday, June 3, 2022, the group of men completed the work and demanded more than double the original price from her. When handing over the money, the four suspects gathered around her, putting pressure on the AP until she paid. Furthermore, the gutter is still apparently defective. The perpetrators are unknown to date. Anyone with relevant information about the persons or vehicles is asked to contact the police in Neunkirchen.
