On the night from Friday to Saturday, an unknown car driver was driving on Trierer Straße from the direction of Nunkirchen towards the town center. At the level of the Gloria Cinema, for reasons unknown, he veered off the road to the right in the left-hand curve and collided with the pipe posts located there. The posts were damaged as a result. The car driver then fled with the vehicle towards the town center. The car was later found without license plates behind the Heidebad. The driver is still at large.
