In the early hours of Friday morning, June 3, 2022, several thefts from passenger cars occurred in St. Ingbert between 3 and 6 a.m. The affected streets were Kohl-Weigand-Straße, Carl-Zuckmayer-Straße, Walther-Weis-Straße, and Reinhold-Becker-Straße. At least two VWs, one Audi, and one Skoda were targeted. One of the vehicles was even broken into. Otherwise, mainly unlocked vehicles were approached and rummaged through. The perpetrator or perpetrators stole a wallet from one vehicle and a goods shipment from another. The damage caused – in the lower four-digit range – is significantly higher than the value of the stolen goods. The St. Ingbert police are now investigating theft and particularly serious cases of theft.
