On the evening of Thursday, June 2, 2022, shortly after 10 p.m., there was a robbery at a gas station that was already closed on St. Ingberter Straße in 66280 Sulzbach (Saar) - Neuweiler district. The previously unknown male masked suspect entered the sales area shortly after closing time, where an employee was still present. Holding a standard kitchen knife, the perpetrator demanded the cash register contents of the gas station, which he then took himself from a cash box. Afterwards, the perpetrator fled on foot towards the areas of Dudweiler and St. Ingbert. A three-digit amount was stolen. The employee was not injured during the incident. The suspect can currently be described as follows: male, approximately 1.70 m tall, wearing a black woolen hat, a camouflage jacket, jogging pants, and masked with a red neckerchief over his face.
The Sulzbach Police Station (Tel. 06897/9330) is seeking witnesses who can provide information about the crime or the suspect. The criminal investigations are ongoing.
