From January to March 2022, mostly elderly victims had their wallets stolen in various LIDL stores. With the debit cards contained inside, large amounts of cash were repeatedly withdrawn from ATMs in Heusweiler, Riegelsberg, and Völklingen. The perpetrator thereby obtained an amount of over 3,000 euros. All three offenses were presumably committed by the same perpetrator.
