Based on the jury's recommendations, a total of nine projects and three investigations are being funded this year with amounts ranging from 2,500 euros to around 23,000 euros. "The work of the actors in the Free Scene Saar enjoys a high standing in our Saarland cultural landscape. The Free Scene is diverse and intercultural, it is a creative driver and source of inspiration – a real enrichment in the field of performing arts. We want to support this, which is why we have continuously increased the funding in recent years. I am very pleased that it is being used so actively," said Culture Minister Christine Streichert-Clivot. The funding budget for the Free Scene Saar was established for the first time in 2019 and then amounted to 37,000 euros.
