On May 30, 2022, at 11:05 a.m., the North Saarland police were informed that a massive fight allegedly took place in Saarbrücker Straße in Wadern OT Nunkirchen. Two unknown male suspects are said to have struck a 37-year-old male victim and also thrown bottles at him. As a result, he even fell onto the street, causing flowing traffic to be affected and forced to slow down. Due to these attacks, the victim from Nunkirchen sustained multiple facial injuries and ultimately had to be treated in a hospital. The suspects, of whom only a vague description is currently available, left the scene afterwards.
