On Sunday evening, May 29, 2022, around 10:10 p.m., there was a hit-and-run traffic accident on Hauptstraße in the Beaumarais district of Saarlouis. According to witnesses, the driver of a silver Ford pickup collided with a white Hyundai Tucson parked on the roadside. The accident caused a scratch damage to the parked car. The perpetrator subsequently fled the scene in his vehicle, heading toward Metzer Straße, and remained unidentified.
