On the morning of May 27, 2022, the parties involved in the accident were driving one behind the other on the B 269 between St. Wendel and Winterbach. At the height of a field road, the victim wanted to turn onto it and had to stop her vehicle due to traffic. The accident causer recognized this too late and rear-ended the victim's car. In the collision, both female drivers and two other passengers were injured and taken to nearby hospitals as a precaution.
