On May 25, 2022, at around 6:10 PM, a 37-year-old motor vehicle driver was driving his car on the street "An der Klinik" heading towards Quierschieder Weg. At the intersection "Quierschieder Weg/Fischbacher Weg," the driver noticed a person at the roadside who had stepped onto the street and apparently made a throwing motion in the direction of the driver. The car driver immediately performed an emergency brake.
Subsequently, the car driving behind rear-ended the braking vehicle. The passenger of the car ahead had to be treated by emergency medical personnel at the accident scene and was then taken to the university hospital in Homburg. The person who stepped onto the road left the scene immediately after the accident, unknown and in an unknown direction. The person is described as having a Mediterranean appearance, approximately 1.77m tall, slim, black hair, mustache.
