On Friday, May 20, 2022, at approximately 4:18 p.m., a traffic accident with subsequent flight of the perpetrator occurred on Florianstraße in Blieskastel. The perpetrator, who is still unknown, was driving his blue car on Florianstraße in the direction of Industriering, behind the scooter of the victim. Near the local glass containers, the scooter driver initiated a left turn maneuver to park in the nearby parking lot. During the turning maneuver, the scooter driver was overtaken on the left by the unknown vehicle driver, causing the victim to perform an emergency brake. As a result, the scooter driver fell and sustained minor injuries. There was no contact between the car and the two-wheeler. The accident perpetrator subsequently left the scene without permission.
