On the evening of May 22, 2022, an e-scooter was stolen around 8:30 PM in Mühlwiesgäßchen in St. Wendel. Witnesses saw four young males with the stolen item. The young men (approximately 16-18 years old) appeared to be of southern European descent and were carrying backpacks. One of them was wearing a blue and white T-shirt. The e-scooter was later located. At that time, it was being handled by a male and a female person in the parking lot at the shopping center on Tholeyer Straße. Both individuals are not considered suspects. They reportedly found the scooter near an adjacent nightclub. Notable at the time of the incident was the missing insurance sticker on the e-scooter.
