On Saturday, May 21, 2022, around 5:00 PM, an incident occurred behind the Saar-Pfalz-Center (Uhlandstraße, 66424 Homburg) in which two children (aged 10 and 13) were beaten and threatened with a knife by three teenagers. The children sustained minor injuries. When passersby noticed the incident, the teenagers ceased their actions and fled the scene on foot. The exact motives for the act are still unclear.
