On Sunday, May 22, 2022, around 10:45 a.m., there was a traffic accident on the L 174 between Merzig and Saarfels, in which the perpetrator of the accident, who was driving his car from Merzig towards Saarfels and grazed an oncoming vehicle, left the scene without permission.
