On Saturday, 21.05.22, at around 22:04, a patrol unit of the Nordsaarland Police Station conducted a traffic check. It was determined that the driver (24 years old from Wadern) was under the influence of drugs.
There were also two minors (14 and 17 years old) in the vehicle, who had to be taken into custody by the police and were subsequently handed over to their guardians after the police procedure.
At the police station of the PI Nordsaarland, a blood sample was taken from the driver by a doctor.
Criminal proceedings are now being initiated against the driver for driving under the influence and violation of the Narcotics Act.
