In summery temperatures, Mayor Lutz Maurer officially opened the swimming season at the beautiful Quierschied outdoor pool last Friday with numerous visitors.
The past two years were used to carry out urgently needed investments in the technical facilities as well as in the design of the surrounding area.
This year, children have the opportunity to earn the "Seahorse" swimming badge every Saturday. Additionally, aqua jogging is also offered.
Mayor Maurer thanked the municipal council for supporting the outdoor pool, the public works department for their work, and especially the outdoor pool team led by lifeguard Christian Straßburger and Martin Ehrlich for the excellent preparation. He also expressed his gratitude to the support association for the catering on this day.
Traditionally, the first bather – this year Meta Fey – was honored with a small gift.
