The Homburg Police Department issued a public search last Saturday for a 65-year-old man from Zweibrücken.
Unfortunately, the extensive search efforts did not lead to the discovery of the person. In addition to strong police forces, tracking dogs and a drone were also deployed.
On Sunday afternoon, two walkers found the person dead in a remote forest area near Homburg. According to initial investigations, there is currently no evidence of third-party involvement.
