Witness appeal after traffic accident

On Friday, 06.05.2022 at around 09:40 a.m., a traffic accident occurred on Saarbrücker Straße in Heusweiler in the area of a pedestrian crossing involving a pedestrian and a black car with VK district registration. The pedestrian was struck by the black car while crossing the pedestrian crossing and fell down. Subsequently, the driver of the vehicle left the scene of the accident without permission. Anyone who witnessed the traffic accident or can provide information about the fleeing black car is asked to contact the Völklingen police station at 06898/2020 or any other police station.
