Burglary at the Show Mine

During the night from April 23, 2022, 8:10 p.m. to April 24, 2022, 10:25 a.m., a burglary occurred at the building complex of the visitor mine Obere Rischbach on Obere Rischbachstraße in St. Ingbert. The perpetrator or perpetrators tampered with several doors on the building and forced them open. Inside the building, the damage caused by the perpetrator(s) was far greater than the value of the items ultimately stolen. The total damage is estimated at around 5,000 EUR. Criminal investigators from the Saarland police secured evidence at the crime scene. An investigation is underway for a particularly serious case of theft. If passersby or residents have observed any suspicious activity, they are asked to report it to the St. Ingbert police at 06894/1090.
