1st case:
On Friday, 22.02.2022, a case of domestic violence was reported to the Lebach police station on Zu den Eichen street in 66839 Schmelz-Primsweiler. At the reported scene, a male individual was found fleeing from the victim's apartment door to the upper floor. Several deep puncture marks were discovered on the door itself. When addressed, the suspect entered the hallway and behaved aggressively and uncooperatively. During the search of the person, a folding knife was found in his right pocket, which was unequivocally identified as the weapon used in the crime.
As the 34-year-old became increasingly enraged, it was necessary to take him into custody. During this, he offered considerable resistance and repeatedly kicked towards the police officers deployed. In addition, he attempted to spit on them several times.
2nd Case
On Saturday, April 23, 2022, a 42-year-old man appeared at the Lebach police station heavily intoxicated and loudly and aggressively demanded to be taken into custody. Since there was initially no reason for this, it was refused and he was expelled from the station.
Soon after, he appeared again and announced that he would cause trouble until he was locked up. He asked if it would be enough to beat up a police officer for that. Immediately afterward, he pulled a bottle of vodka from under his jacket and first raised it threateningly, then brought it to his mouth and drank from it. When trying to take it away from him, the bottle fell to the ground and broke.
The suspect then approached a police officer in an aggressive manner and could not be verbally stopped. As a result, he had to be controlled to the ground and handcuffed. He was subsequently taken to police custody at the Lebach Police Station. During the operation, both the suspect and two police officers were each slightly injured.
