Shots fired on the A8 motorway feeder road

On the night from Thursday, April 21, 2022, to Friday, April 22, 2022, at around 12:15 a.m., it was reported that a male person was observed getting out of a dark (possibly black) Peugeot convertible on the A8 motorway feeder road in Wellesweiler, heading in the direction of Zweibrücken, and then firing three shots from a pistol at a vehicle standing in front. The person then got back into their vehicle and sped onto the A8 motorway towards Zweibrücken. The dark Peugeot had already been noticed earlier due to its driving behavior (extremely fast, coming from Neunkirchen-Wellesweiler towards the A8). The identity of the victim(s) in the vehicle that was shot at is currently unknown. Witnesses are asked to contact the police in Neunkirchen.
