An eleven-year-old girl was bitten by a white, shaggy dog in Rappweiler; the dog's owners are still unknown. Believing that the dog only wanted to sniff her, the girl stood still, whereupon the dog suddenly bit her on the left shin. The dog's small teeth left a bleeding wound on the child's shin.
Description of dog owners:
The woman was said to be slightly stockier than the man. She had reddish, shoulder-length hair. The man had a normal build. The couple had three dogs with them; two "white, small, shaggy" dogs that looked alike and a larger black dog.
The previously unknown dog owners are suspected of having committed negligent bodily harm to the detriment of the child. Please provide any information to the Nordsaarland Police Department.
