Recognition of foreign professional qualifications for additional licensed professions now available online.
[advertisement placement="medium_rectangle" align="left"]Since early August, professionals with qualifications obtained abroad as pharmacists, veterinarians, psychotherapists, or dentists can submit their application for recognition of professional qualifications in Saarland digitally. It does not matter whether the applicants are already in Germany or in which country they obtained their qualification. The online application can be submitted via the platform www.anerkennung-in-deutschland.de. The portal is operated by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training and is available in various languages.
With the digitization of recognition procedures, we make it easier for international professionals to enter the German labor market and continue to reduce bureaucratic obstacles. Especially in professions where qualified specialists are urgently needed, simple, transparent, and digital procedures are an important location factor. At the same time, we relieve the administration and ensure more efficient processes.

[advertisement placement="medium_rectangle" align="right"]Saarland is thus further expanding the digitization of recognition procedures for foreign professional qualifications. Previously, applications for doctors, teachers, as well as educators were digitally enabled.
In recent months, the IHK FOSA (Foreign Skills Approval), the central nationwide examination office of the Chambers of Industry and Commerce for the recognition of foreign professional qualifications, has also been successfully connected to the digital application service for the training occupation of office management clerk.
The digital offering will gradually be expanded to other occupational groups. This is intended to make the recognition of foreign qualifications easier and faster for international specialists and at the same time relieve the Saarland administration in processing the applications.
